Susanna is dear to our family’s hearts and I want to recognize the amazingness and love she has blessed us with.
I found Susanna when looking for a midwife for a home birth at 17 weeks into my pregnancy. My wife was not 100% on board yet, but after speaking thoroughly with Susanna who understood my wife’s concerns, she gave us a few educational sources such as suggested books and documentaries to watch, so that together we could make an informed decision. We decided to work with Susanna after speaking with her based on her knowledge and experience with home births, her openness and honesty, and her genuine and loving presence. Throughout my pregnancy she helped me to focus on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and always was quick to respond if I had any concerns or worries day or night. (And I did call her for concerns late at night). It was so nice to feel prioritized 24/7 especially being my first pregnancy and every experience being so new. Even after my labor and delivery, the post natal care from Susanna has been so wonderful and she continues to make us feel prioritized. She truly has become a part of our family throughout this experience. I will forever be grateful for her and couldn’t have imagined this process without her. If anyone in the North Bay Area is looking for a midwife (even if you are planning a hospital birth) I highly recommend giving Susanna a call.
